Most riders seem to favor down one tooth on the front and up 2-3 on the rear from stock. It might be worthwhile to unbolt your front sprocket cover and find out what is on there now if the bike was purchased used. It seems stock was 16/43 from what I can find, so you are at least up one from stock. You will also need to know the chain pitch, probably 520. Some of the Suzuki guys might chime in with more info.

2 down on the front, 1 up on the back!!!! That gearing worked amazinlgy for my stock 07 GSXR 600! What's nicer about -2/+1 (compared to -1/+2) is that it makes the swingarm length a little longer which helps add stability, but you have the killer gearing for acceleration. It's a sweet tradeoff I'm pretty sure it worked out to be 14/44, as I think stock is 16/43. Hmmmmm, this was one of my many secrets to success........ but I guess I don't need to keep my secrets anymore lol

The gearing on that bike worked amazingly for doing sub minute lap times!!
That being said; the faster the rider is, the taller the gearing will need to be (less teeth on the back, or more on the front). The slower the rider is, the shorter the gearing will need to be (more teeth on the back, or less on the front)
If you haven't changed the gearing, I'm sure you'll have a 14 tooth on the front.
You should probably get another front sprocket, because the front wears down a lot faster than the rear....
15/47 is pretty much identical gearing to what's on it now, so you can either go with that if you like the gearing, or keep 14/44.
If you aren't really using 6th gear or if you're just getting into 6th gear before braking into Turn 1, then you may need to go 14/46 or 15/49.
