Hello, I hold an Expert racing license with the EMRA, Edmonton Motorcycle Roadracing Association. I am wondering if I require a CMA license aswell to come out race a couple rounds this year?
I've never ridden the Gimli track, will I remain at my level or be entered as Novice? Can I do the track day portions before racing later in the day?
Thanks, Norbert aka JAJU Black #5

the MRA in the past has been sanctioned by the CMA. If it is this year you would need a CMA licence. Bring your own application and pay for it at the First MRA round. That way the MRA will know you have one and you won't have to wait for the CMA to mail you one...which you most likely won't get on time for the round you are racing. Unfortunately you can not ride in track day the same day you race. That is a CMA rule. If your are expert you would be racing expert. Bring your expert license as proof. You will have a blast, Very safe track, average amenities, Always cool, bring your best tire warmers, beer and food.
Generators need to be 50 feet from pit lane. Fire extinguisher required.
