Hey Everyone,
It’s no news to anyone that the world is a crazy place right now regarding Covid19. Provincial guidelines are limiting personal contact for all businesses and organizations and the MRA is no exception.
Any participants who feel sick or unwell, or have recently travelled outside of Manitoba are asked to stay home. We reserve the right to remove any persons from the event if they are exhibiting symptoms or we believe them to be unwell or at risk. Any participants who are unable to attend due to illness will receive a full refund.
Below will outline the necessary changes made to our normal operating procedures that most riders have grown accustomed to.
For the June round we will NOT be having a riders meeting. All participants will be required to read a transcript of our normal riders meeting and sign a document that says you have read and understand. On the signing document there is also the helmet certification declaration. Riders will have to sign that their helmet is up to the standards of the MRA. There are no exceptions.
Racers will be doing a self tech inspection. You will get your tech sheet as you always have, do your inspection, and turn in your tech sheet to tech inspection and they will give you your tech sticker.
NOTE: Track day riders will have regular tech inspection. Bring your bike to the designated tech area and give the inspector reasonable space. Be sure to bring your race stand if your bike is not equipped with a side stand.
*Please be respectful and allow additional time for tech inspection, bring your bike to tech early to avoid missing out on track time*
As of June 1st the Manitoba government has lifted occupancy caps on outdoor recreation facilities. However, the MRA would still ask that anyone who is not actively participating in the event stay home to keep gatherings to a minimum. We ask that any parents/guardians and pit personnel stay in their own pit area.
Timing and scoring will be located in the same spot per usual. We do not want people gathering to review times and hang out in the clubhouse area. There will be a queue to individually review the timing/scoring pages and ask that everyone do so in a timely fashion.
The grandstand viewing areas will be off-limits.
These directions are subject to change.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us
