For the 2019 season and going forward the Manitoba Roadracing Association will be banning the use of any non-OEM spin-on oil filters.
This decision has been taken due to multiple failures the club has seen with these filters. This decision also allows the MRA to fall in line with most other club racing organizations.
Any motorcycle equipped with a non-OEM oil filter will not be eligible to pass tech inspection and will not be allowed on track.
The MRA apologizes for this inconvenience.
